Imagination Stage

Imagination Stage is the largest and most respected multi-disciplinary theatre arts organization for young people in the Mid-Atlantic region. We offer a year-round season of professional shows (adult actors performing for families and classes), after-school programs and summer camps for ages 1-18, and arts-integration professional development training for teachers, students, schools and families. All of our programs are informed by our core belief in making the arts inclusive and accessible to all children, regardless of their physical, cognitive or financial status.

Classika Theatre

Founded in 1996 by Inna Shapiro, Classika Theatre provides high-quality theatrical performances in the renowned Russian theatrical tradition to audiences of all ages. The Classika Studio offers visual and dramatic arts programs for children. The Green Parrot Puppet Theatre is dedicated to productions for the youngest audiences. Shows are offered in an "Adult/Teenage Series" and an "Adult/Children's Series," which frequently features original musical versions of European classics. With a flare for colorful staging and stylized acting rooted in Russian tradition, Classika presents small shows unlike the usual fare of little theaters in the area. It also offers classes for adults and children and an Arts and Drama summer camp for ages 4 to 16.
